HURRICANE PATRICIA NOW THE STRONGEST HURRICANE EVER RECORDED

Hurricane Patricia, in the eastern Pacific, is now the strongest hurricane ever recorded with maximum sustained winds of 200 mph. She is expected to make landfall, along the western Mexican coast around Manzanillo, later this afternoon or this evening as a powerful category 5 hurricane with catastrophic results. As this powerful cyclone moves into Central Mexico, its outer bands and mid and upper level moisture will be moving into North Texas interacting with an approaching cold front. This will exacerbate the heavy rain conditions here allowing for more rain to fall through Sunday. DFW Airport has already picked-up about 5.18 inches of rain and could easily get another 3 to 5 inches by Sunday.
